Endless War 3 is that old-school top-down shooter that makes you feel clever one second and very, very mortal the next. You’re dropped into tight arenas with limited ammo, twitchy enemies, and just enough cover to make greedy plays feel possible. The twist? You’re not just spraying bullets — you’re planning an assault, picking your kit before missions, and even commanding allies when things get spicy.

Content-wise it’s stacked: 30 missions plus access to campaigns from the first two games live inside this one package, so there’s always another scenario to puzzle out. You can pre-select equipment for each op, and there’s even a toggle that unlocks all guns for any mission if you want to experiment or go full sandbox.

Controls are satisfyingly crisp: WASD to move, mouse to aim/shoot, 1–4 to switch weapons, R reload, G drop your gun, Space for alt-attack, and the clutch key — Q — to issue squad commands. When you time a push with your AI buddies and sweep a corridor clean, it hits that tactics + arcade sweet spot.

Campaign variety keeps the pace fresh. One set drops you into the Iraq War with urban chokepoints and vehicle threats; another heads to the WW2 Pacific with jungle flanks and nastier crossfires. There’s even a wild near-future arc if you want to take a break from history and just shred. Each mission leans into different weapon matchups, so your loadout choices matter — SMGs for room clearing, LMGs for lane denial, or a battle rifle when you need precision under pressure.

Try-hard tips from a cheerful grunt:
• Slice the room. Enter diagonally to reduce angles; clear from cover to cover instead of center-peeking.
• Work the cycle. Aggro, fall back, and re-peek when enemies reload — save ammo, save face.
• Use Q or lose. Stagger your squad’s push so someone is always trading fire while you reposition.
