THE HEIST — Review + Tips & Tricks:

The Heist drops you into the cleanest role in crime: the driver. No masks, no vault codes — just you, a twitchy accelerator, and a city full of traffic that absolutely refuses to cooperate. It’s a top-down chase where every mission starts after the score and ends only if you reach the hideout before the timer taps out. Thread the gaps, juke the cruisers, and pray your bumper survives another “totally intentional” sideswipe.

What makes it click is the rhythm: short runs with clear goals, a distance bar teasing how close you are to safety, and that glorious cash payout when you don’t wad the van into a roadblock. Cash isn’t just for flex — it feeds the upgrade loop. Beef up your engine for better getaway speed, tighten steering so the van stops feeling like a shopping cart, and tune the wheels so lane changes don’t turn into drift exhibitions. It’s the classic arcade grind: survive → get paid → upgrade → push further.

Cops escalate as you improve, which feels fair (and spicy). Early on you’re outrunning a couple of sedans; later you’re slaloming through traffic while cruisers try to pin you, and one mistake can erase a great run. The city layout keeps you honest: narrow lanes force micro-adjustments, wider stretches tempt risky overtakes, and civilian cars are the real final boss.

Pro tips from a reckless but smiling wheelman:
Handling first. A snappier turn radius saves more runs than raw top speed.
Feather the lane changes. Quick, shallow inputs keep momentum without fishtailing.
Use traffic as cover. Duck behind slow cars to force cops into bad angles (sorry, Camry).

If you love tight arcade chases with meaningful upgrades and zero downtime between retries, The Heist absolutely slaps. It’s perfect between classes or while your duo queues — fast to learn, brutal to master, and dangerously “one more run.”
